Advertising Approved Acupuncture Courses

Two of the major complaints to the AACP Office from Physiotherapists is that many courses advertised in Frontline and on the iCSP web are run by tutors not recognised by AACP and that it is difficult to find details of Approved Courses. Physiotherapists need a source of good quality Training Courses and this website can be used for advertising such Training Courses free of charge

If you would like to advertise your courses, please send full details to the webmaster, including:-

  • Dates & durations
  • Location, including postcode
  • Contact details for booking, including phone & E-Mail
  • Price & whether lunch etc. is included
  • Course synopsis, whether training or CPD
  • Any pre-requisites

BUPA & Prudential insist that all Physiotherapists using Acupuncture must be AACP members

BUPA and Prudential Assurance have confirmed to us that they are insisting all Physiotherapists who treat their patients with Acupuncture must be members of AACP. All Physiotherapists treating Members of the UK Armed Forces must be members of AACP, BMAS, or BAcC.

CPD - Have you read the instructions on the packet?

There are still widespread misconceptions about CPD that are held by many.
CPD is not training and cannot be offered as such!

Warning for Physiotherapists to select AACP accredited courses

Physiotherapists are advised to check carefully that any course they select is taught by an AACP recognised tutor. New Basic Courses must be 80 hours. Courses of less than 80 hours, undertaken after 2005, will not gain membership of AACP and are not accepted for practice in other countries.
